The Centre is located 40 km from Namtumbo District headquarters. It is close to Nyerere National Park, Selous-Niassa Wildlife corridor, Northen Undendeule forest reserve and Mbarang’andu Wildlife Management area (WMA). The Centre occupies an area with a total of 3171 hectares of land which includes miombo woodland, riverine forest, wetlands and savanna.  This provides the Centre an opportunity for ideal and suitable site for field practical training.
